Onsite Consultation
Our first step is to learn everything we can about the project you envision. It starts with us doing something few other builders take the time to do: Listen! We’ll listen as you tell us what’s most important to you about your new home or renovation. At some point in our meeting, we’ll ask questions, too. Together we’ll examine your property to determine layout and restrictions—if any—and from there establish general time-frame, budget, and discuss any concerns or questions you may have.
Preliminary Drawings
Next, we will work closely with you to develop a rough plan for what your project will look like once completed. Together, we will come up with creative ideas to customize your living space, while also determining which aspects of your design are the most important based on your budget.
Cost Establishment
Here’s where our process really differs from that of traditional general contractors. Unlike some other builders, who conceal costs and often make dozens of unexpected (and expensive) change orders, we establish your project budget early, before plans are finalized. We provide up-front explanations of how much every feature adds to your project’s total value, so you can decide which of them you most want to keep.
Detailed Drawings
Our detailed drawings represent your house with complete accuracy. These plans, once approved by the county, will be used to build your house. At this stage we also provide our unique 3-D virtual walkthrough to help you visualize the final product.
Construction
We’re proud of the long-standing relationships we’ve formed over the years with our subcontractors. We work closely with these professionals to complete your new home or renovation on-schedule.
